"As a ghost of the past, Ivan Hlupar, I would like to share with you a story that still resonates along the Krupa River today. In the 19th century, I built my watermill and sawmill where the water flow was strongest for maximum effectiveness. But before that I had to go and make a living. I traveled far, all the way to the United States of America. There, with my fellow immigrants we endured 10 or 12 hours shifts, 6 days a week. Upon returning to my hometown of Semič and lots of challenges abroud, I found myself greately inspired.
